Experience and Expertise

Andrea studied at University College Cork and was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2008. Andrea practised as a barrister for five years prior to joining O’Connell Brennan in 2013. Andrea qualified as a solicitor in 2014.

Andrea specialises in personal estate and tax planning, wills and succession, trusts (both domestic and international), the administration of estates and contentious probate and trust issues. She advises individuals and families on asset protection, asset structuring and the transfer of assets by gift or inheritance.  Andrea also advises charities and non-profit organisations and donors in relation to philanthropic giving. 

Andrea is also an Associate of the Institute of Taxation and a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a committee member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Ireland. She is a regular speaker and contributor in her areas of expertise.
